The chair concept Aks is designed for Interstil Denmark, and consists of both a lounge chair and dining chair. The inspiration for the chair comes from a grain spike and the way the individual grains in the spike meets. Likewise, the chair also takes inspiration from the grain itself and how the shell embraces the inner.
Both the lounge and dinning chair is available in different combinations of shells and bases:

Metal base with either full upholstered seat and backrest, veneered top upholstered shells or veneered shells with top upholstered seat. The same options are available with wooden base.
